Description

Church of Logie - Logie Pert, Tayside - Places of Worship in Scotland | SCHR

This small, ruined church near the hamlet of Logie is surrounded by a round graveyard. It was built in the 13th century, with parts of it rebuilt in the 15th-16th century. It had a new roof put on in 1857 when it became the burial place of the Carnegies of Craigo. It was built in coursed sandstone with rubble inserts and ashlar dressings. The part which survives was originally the chancel of the church, with the nave attached to the west. The nave has not survived.
