Olumedia - Bristol Based Portrait Photographer

A freelance Photographer and Videographer based in Bristol. Currently studying Photography BA at the University of the West of England (UWE). Olumide Osinoiki is a Bristol-based Portrait Photographer, Videographer and Art Director, working primarily within the visual media sector but simultaneously operating as a multidisciplinary content creator. Olu is a second-year student representative on the BA Photography at UWE in Bristol. As well as producing a variety of photographic work (Portraits, Weddings, Events) and video content, Olu has been collaborating with different organisations to participate in panel discussions, workshops and exhibitions within the city of Bristol. Creative Clarity Workshop and Identity Matters Exhibition with UWE Bristol Equity, Panel Discussions at Wellfest 2018 as well as the prestigious Arnolfini. In his personal artistic work, Olu is focused on providing solutions to problematic societal perspectives, documenting the beauty of humanity in a candid manner and exploring themes such as racial identity, self-love and personal care, faith and day to day philosophy. Clients and collaborators include: Rap Artist “23”, Singer/Producer “Roche”, Fashion and Music Collective “TAE”, Collaboration with MANDEM (a platform promoting positive black masculinity), a21 (Organisation against Modern Slavery), Africa Week Events at UWE, Watershed and Noisy Little Monkey. Identity Matters is a Portrait Series aiming to create an equitable perspective of Black British Identity. This project is ongoing but has already led to Olu receiving invitations to speak, and exhibit work as well as attracting the attention of the BBC for a news story. Bristol & London Photographer
