Description

St John the Baptist - A Church Near You

As of February 2022, St John the Baptist will host a service of BCP Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month, a service of Evensong on the fourth Sunday of each month, and will alternate an All Age Worship service on the third Sunday of every other month. All Saints, Hollybush and The Church of the Redeemer, Pendock Cross remain open for private prayer on set days of the week. Welcome to St John the Baptist, Eldersfield, a beautiful medieval building with its iconic landmark spire in the midst of some of the most beautiful countryside imaginable. Our ring of 6 bells makes a joyous sound, floating out towards the Malvern Hills. Inside, the welcome is always warm and we are very grateful for all the help and support we receive from our local community in keeping this historic building well maintained and very much still at the heart of the village. The parish of Eldersfield is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own ParishSafe guarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Worcester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services
