Christ Church Stannington - A Church Near You

Welcome to Christ Church Stannington, we are a community of people learning to love God and to love our neighbours and to be more Christlike in our lives. We hope that through our worship and witness, others too of all ages may find faith and grow in faith. Do join us. Covid safety The quieter 9am service is more suitable for those still anxious about Covid, and some attendees still choose to wear face coverings. During both Holy Communion services, the wafers are dipped into the wine, to reduce the risk of transmission. Refreshments are now available between the 9am and 10.30am services. Sunday 3rd July at 10.30am - Join us in the church building for our Praise Service led by our Shelley Johnson. Monday 4th July 12:00 - Stannington Foodbank at Stanwood Methodist. Just come if in need. Tuesday 5th July 10.30am - Natter a relaxed and friendly place for a chat and cuppa, mainly for over 60s but everyone is welcome at Hall Park Head Community Centre. Tuesday 5th July at 9.30am - Baby Time in church - a place where new parents get to meet each other. Our age-range is birth to age 2. Sunday 10th July at 9am - Join us in the church building for our service of Holy Communion using Book of Common Prayer led by Rev Alison Cook. Sunday 10th July at 10.30am - Join us in the church building for our service of Holy Communion using Common Worship led by Rev Alison Cook.
