✨A bit about us ‘Our Time - Sensory Baby’ ✨ 💙We are an early years education and development programme that follows the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum devised by the Department for Education. Our classes follow this framework which is used by all Early Years settings whether it be a nursery or a child minder, your child’s learning journey will follow this framework until they reach Reception year at Primary School. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, also, to give you a continuity of Early Years education even at this young age. We focus our classes on the 0-12months developmental milestones set out in this framework to ensure we are teaching developmentally specific classes to the very highest of standards. Our extensive research and experience has been put into practice and we aim to deliver the very best foundations for early learning. We pride ourselves that every class you attend is taught by qualified teachers who have had extensive early years education training to level 6 and above. Trained to Level 3 in Safeguarding Children and are Paediatric First Aid trained. 💜 Classes last for one hour and focus on the 7 areas of sensory learning, for babies, in a fun way. We offer a wide range of activities during our 6 week terms. A typical term at Our Time incorporates infant massage, light displays, sensory canopies, puppets, musical instruments, songs, messy play and our weekly art activity. The hour consists of 35 minutes of adult led sensory activity, as you explore in the jolly jungle vines and fabrics, have a teddy bears picnic around the campfire or rocket off to the solar system and end each session with a snuggly story. You can also enjoy 20 minutes of free play too! Our free play area is for you and baby to explore at your leisure in whichever of our areas you and baby love the most. If messy play isn’t for you we also provide cosy cushioned areas, treasure baskets filled with sensory resources, books, the cosy dark den, and our sensory bubble light area which always proves a very poplar area with our younger babies. And yes we know you love our messy play areas too but we need to be extra careful, so we will now be including our messy play in a new and safe way for you to still get these experiences of squelching in chocolate mud, making snow balls in floury snow, floating away on a foam cloud or splashing in the puddles.
